Daily Repentance

Something on your “to-do list” that never gets done.

“Something that never gets done” can be interpreted in two different ways:

*The thing on your list that literally never gets done, not even once.

*The thing on your list that does get done, but is not a “one-time” thing. It continually needs to be done and it seemingly has a permanent spot on your to-do list. It lives on your list.

The thing on my to-do list that never “gets done” is repenting. It lives on my list. Repenting is not a “one and done” thing. It is a continuous activity that is done…daily.

We sin daily, we repent daily.

The Greek word for repentance is metanoia. It means “to change one’s mind.” As we grow in our sanctification, we grow in our understanding as well, thanks to Jesus Christ!

Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path.

~Psalm 119:105

I do not mean to imply I do this perfectly. I DO NOT…AT ALL. Christ is my Savior, redeemer, mediator and He alone is perfect!

Is Jesus Christ, the Son of God – God in the flesh – your Savior? Today is the day of salvation!
