Time, Time, Time

Do you need time?

God created time:

In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth. And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters. And God said, Let there be light: and there was light. And God saw the light, that it was good: and God divided the light from the darkness. And God called the light Day, and the darkness he called Night. And the evening and the morning were the first day.

~Genesis 1:1-5

We rely on time to sleep, work, manage responsibilities, eat, love, play & much more! Although we rely on time, God warns us that time is not guaranteed. Time has a beginning…and an end.

We are not promised tomorrow, nor do we know the future:

Do not boast about tomorrow, for you do not know what a day may bring.

~Proverbs 27:1

One day, at God’s pre-ordained choosing, time will cease. We will exist in eternity which has no beginning and no end.

While we all go about our days and nights, getting things done, checking our to-do lists off, and focusing on day to day issues, make sure you make time for God each day. Get to know Him, and if you already know Him then grow in your knowledge of Him. Spend time with Him daily. He made you and your time!

If you do not know God, you can learn more about Him by reading his Word in the Bible. Learning about His good news (the gospel) is imperative and you can read more on this here! There are additional helpful encouraging resources located in the MENU section.
