Invisible Clutter

Where can you reduce clutter in your life?

How can clutter be invisible? Don’t we tend to imagine clutter as messy piles of paperwork & books, clothes, junk drawers or similar?

But yes, indeed, clutter can be invisible to the naked eye…it is the clutter of our minds.

Search me, O God, and know my heart:
try me, and know my thoughts:
And see if there be any wicked way in me,
and lead me in the way everlasting.

~Psalm 139:23-24

We can certainly reduce the clutter of our minds ~ useless worries, songs that can “live” in our head without our permission at times, thoughts about things that have no relevance or do not glorify God…yes, this kind of clutter.

Reduce this clutter by meditating on God’s Word. It is a balm for our souls, can “reduce clutter,” help us to focus clearly and get us back “on track”.

Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be acceptable in your sight, O Lord, my rock and my redeemer.

~Psalm 19:14
