What’s something you believe everyone should know.
I believe everyone should know their Creator.
People spend so much time and money learning to know & master so many things like Math, Literature, History & more. These things are good to know – don’t misunderstand me. Who doesn’t love the confidence gained by knowing how to solve a Math problem, or reading excellent books, or learning about historical events?
But if we never fully understood Math, or never read great literature, and were never even taught History would we be ok?
Now, many will say – “You will not be ok if you don’t know these things…” Their identity hinges on grasping academics and excelling at them. They connect college degrees with success and can’t fathom how a person can be successful without one!
I say otherwise….I have a college degree and this degree most definitely does not define me. I homeschool my children and teach them to teach themselves and to learn academics…but what matters most is knowing your creator.
This world is temporary and is not our home. The knowledge of Him – His Word is what matters most.
This life means nothing without knowing Him. Lord help us all to know and love you!
For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul.
